I have to say the weather today had me looking forward to the spring. I can't say I miss having a yearly snowstorm this year.

To get back into painting after the holidays I once again decided to paint some bird's nests. Its a nice way of easing back into the routine. I have a few more to post in the next few days. This birds nest is an older one that I found in the yard a few years ago. The twigs are made out of straw and its a little rougher then some of the other birds nests that I have found in the yard. I don't know what kind of bird built this, but it has great texture.
