Root Cause 12 x 9

Last weekend I took a  workshop with Scott Conary.
He is a wonderful still life painter and I had seen his work at the Principle Gallery in Charleston a few years ago.  It was posted that he was teaching here in Atlanta so I decided it would get me going again and it did.  I have posted 2 more paintings on my other blog http://christinebraypaintings.blogspot.com/ that I started this year which features smaller paintings.

Added Another Blog

I have added another blog for small paintings.  They will be more affordable.  Please subscribe!!!  Eventually I am going to hook it up with a website where artists can sell their work.  It just will take time for me to figure out so I just need some set time to do it.
The blog address is:  http://christinebraypaintings.blogspot.com/
Thank you!!!!
I will still post larger paintings on my current blog and my website has all the paintings.

SOLD: Dream 36 x 36

I haven't posted in sometime.  2016 was a rough year, but it seems as though 2017 has had a very fresh start and new beginnings.  Hopefully I will get to start painting in a few weeks and post more paintings.
I wanted to thank my good friend Gail for the purchase of this painting.  It will go with its sister painting Daydream.  Enjoy!

Gifting 12 x 12 Oil on Panel

This was a fun painting that I painted a few weeks ago in Karen Appleton's class.  I liked painting looser. Not sure if I like the quality of this photo.  I may redo it in a few days. Sorry its been awhile since my last post.  I have been in a painting funk to say the least.  Update- I just redid the photo and this is the new one.  So much better.

I am taking an art class at Chastain Art Center with Karen Appleton. You can see her link on my page. This was the setup to paint one night.  It was something different for me and was enjoyable.

These 2 paintings sold in March at Anne Irwin Fine Art in Atlanta for a customer in California.  Its always exciting to hear your paintings are throughout the country and elsewhere.  The top painting is called Morning Mist and the nest is Reunion.
