Bowl with Strawberries 6 x 6 Canvas Sold

This is a piece of pottery that my aunt made. I have been wanting to paint it for some time and finally decided to add strawberries to the bowl.

Yesterday I decided to paint in the complimentary colors yellow and purple. Ever since my workshops with David Leffel I love painting grapes. He did a great demonstration on how to paint them and I really learned from that experience. As far as the vase I made it much more vibrant then it actually is and love the added reds and oranges.

Waiting On Spring 20 x 16

I was given this Quince by another artist from her garden. I wanted another light painting and I wanted to keep it simple. After receiving the Quince I came down with a winter cold and finally was able to paint this painting the last 2 weeks of February. At that point the flowers starting changing colors and wilting. I was able to use a few of the remaining flowers for the painting. I am glad its March and I am ready for nicer weather.
