I bought these branches at Fresh Market and love how they twist and turn so naturally. I wanted to paint another painting similar to Simplicity, but ended up adding a few more objects. I took a week or so off from painting and I don't think I will do that again. Happy New Year!

Really beautiful contrast! The vines pop with the darks and highlights are gorgeous. When I enlarged it I could see the reds and yellows in the vines too, very nice!!!
