What a Lovely Home: Sold

It has been awhile since my last post. I have been traveling a lot for work and its my busy season with getting our fabric line printed for the next season. The bird's nest sold to the VA Hospital in Richmond, Virginia a few months ago and I am finally posting it. The other painting is in the marsh series I have been working on recently. I seem to be getting a slow start to 2016 for many reasons. Here is the first painting of the year. It will go to Anne Irwin Fine Art next week.

I basically did the same layout as in Palmetto State Park, but went in and changed the colors and removed some of the marsh and faded the background. Just wanted to try this one again. This painting is available through me.
This painting has been painted for quite sometime. I have gone back into it and changed things a few times. It is available through me and will be at a show I am participating in June. More on that later. This year I had planned on posting quicker and more often. I am not off to a good start. I just counted and I have 8 paintings that I need to photograph and post. Also, get to a gallery. This weather isn't helping. Hopefully this week sometime I will have a chance to get outside and take some photos. Initially I did a plein air study at Folly Beach State Park in South Carolina. This is a larger version with a few changes.
