Grapes and Bowl 16 x 16 Oil on Canvas
I am working on the single object theme or more simplified theme at the moment to give a more modern feel to my paintings. This painting will be available at the Shain Gallery in Charlotte, North Carolina for their Small Works Show that starts this Friday, December 4. The reception is from 6-8pm. Hope if you are in the area you go by and check it out. If not you can always visit their website at Shain Gallery or you can visit my new website at Christine Bray Fine Art

Still Life with Grey Vase and Fruit 18 x 18 on Panel
After watching David Leffel's video on painting an orange or circle shape I really wanted to work on mine. I really like how the one on the right turned out. The one on the left is in the shadow so it didn't need the same effect as the one on the right. Both pieces of pottery are by local Atlanta artists. Anyway I do have more news and new paintings to add. I will do it over the next week or so.
